# Does Emolysis deploy anything without my approval?

> No, deploying is a step you take yourself, and only after lint, a DuckDB dry run and the golden tests on your machine have all come back green.

No. Deploying is a step you take, not something the agent does on its own. The agent lints every pipeline it writes for your platform and runs its golden tests on DuckDB before it deploys anything. A failing test sends the agent back to the template.

When the tests are green, you deploy with the deploy command in the app, the CLI or your editor. If your team runs `emo check` in its CI, or the planned [GitHub App](https://emolysis.com/integrations/github), green checks on the pull request become the gate, and your normal review and merge rules still apply.

What you deploy runs on your platform under your account, with that account's permissions. See [deploying pipelines](https://emolysis.com/docs/deploying) and [permissions on your platform](https://emolysis.com/faq/platform-permissions).
