# Can I run the checks in my own CI?

Yes. `emo check` runs the checks, lint, golden tests and a cost estimate, inside your own CI, signed in with an organization's machine token. A reusable GitHub Actions workflow, in preview, runs `emo check` in your own CI; it needs the `emo` command line, which is not released yet. That suits teams that prefer not to install apps on their organization, or that want the checks next to their other jobs. The [GitHub App](https://emolysis.com/integrations/github), which runs them without a workflow, is planned.

The [emo command line](https://emolysis.com/integrations/cli) also lets you run any check from another CI system, because every action is a command you can call with JSON parameters. The results show up as checks on the pull request.

See the [GitHub checks docs](https://emolysis.com/docs/github-checks) and the [tutorial preview](https://emolysis.com/tutorials/pull-request-checks) for the checks themselves and how they gate a deploy.
