# Is there a date for Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric?

> There are no dates yet: both are planned after Databricks, and the news page announces each one when its templates pass their tests there.

There are no dates yet. Both [Snowflake](https://emolysis.com/platforms/snowflake) and [Microsoft Fabric](https://emolysis.com/platforms/microsoft-fabric) are planned after Databricks. Their platform profiles are drafted: the dialects, table formats, merge idioms, incremental tools, deployment units, sign-in methods and known traps the agent needs to know. Both connectors are built and tested only against simulated Snowflake and Fabric services; neither has run on a real account.

We would rather give you a date we can keep than a date we hope for, so we post each one on the [news page](https://emolysis.com/news) when it is ready, together with the shapes whose templates pass their tests on that platform.

If you run Snowflake or Fabric today, you can still use the local parts, because golden tests on DuckDB do not need a platform. See [what a platform profile is](https://emolysis.com/faq/what-is-a-platform-profile).
